These parades are cherished holiday traditions in our community. They are coordinated by hard-working volunteers who meticulously organize these treasured events annually.

This year, the individual committees are combin-ing their efforts to form one Bedford Parade Committee to oversee both holiday parade events. Working togeth-er will allow volunteers to pool resources, streamline activities and more efficiently serve the community.

Parades are about community pride, unity and celebration. Soldiers, elected officials, churches, police officers, firefighters, and the local busi-ness community participate side-by-side with enthusiasm, patriotism, tradition, and team-work to honor the community.

The spirit of collaboration and cooperation con-veyed through the parade events are greatly needed in today’s society.
